A little about my story working in education...

As an English teacher I've always been fascinated by the power of stories to connect people, spark understanding, and inspire change. That love of language and human connection has shaped my career in education for 20 years, both in UK and international schools.

Throughout my time as a teacher and school leader, I've held pastoral and curriculum leadership roles that deepened my understanding of what helps individual and teams to truly thrive.

I have led large teams and discovered the transformative power of coaching and positive psychology. Once I'd discovered the impact that these disciplines can have within the school context, I was inspired to train in more depth as a coach and pursue an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, complementing my MA in Education.

Alongside my work in schools, I continue to teach part time as an English teacher and I work as an Associate Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education, supporting the next generation of teachers as they begin their professional journeys.

Everything I do is grounded in evidence-based research and a genuine belief that when we invest in people we unlock the potential for whole communities to flourish. Through my work with schools I now help educators and school leaders build cultures of wellbeing, connection, and growth. I firmly believe that thriving individuals create thriving schools.
